Character Name: Margaret Elizabeth "Peggy" Carter
Character Canon: Marvel Cinematic Universe
Character Age: 25

History: Wiki Link
Canon Point: Shortly after the end of season 1 of Agent Carter.
Personality: Peggy is a remarkably resilient and ambitious person. She would be an amazing person even if she weren't female. The fact that she's also a woman and accomplished as much as she did in her life against so much opposition and in defiance of every social more of her time, just shows even more incredible resilience and stubbornness.
When Peggy was young, like most people, she did attempt to conform to the molds that society constructed for her. She believed that her greatest ambition was to find a good man and settle down, raise a family. She did in fact accomplish these goals in her life, but not until later. With the help of her brother, pushing her to embrace her adventurous side and intelligence, she embarked on a very different path. Despite all the difficulty she also experienced in her life, Peggy wouldn't say that she regretted a thing.
She is highly intelligent, skilled at looking outside the box and approaching problems in a different way from others. She sees things that many others miss - such as the value in a young, awkward man who just wants to do good in the world. This may be at least partly because she herself has been overlooked and pushed down so many times. Though she looks up to Steve Rogers and sees him as someone to aspire to be like, she also embodies many of the qualities of Captain America - she is empathetic, kind, caring, strong, stubborn, and uncompromising where she needs to be. She also knows her own value and abilities as a person - independently of what other people think of her.
Peggy can also suffer from tunnel vision where it comes to her work. When it comes to saving lives, protecting the world, she doesn't let anything stand in her way. But at times the people around her suffer for that. When Peggy's roommate was murdered, Peggy grieved deeply, and felt extremely guilty. That guilt is shown in other situations. Also like Steve, Peggy tends to carry the world on her shoulders, and blame herself when things go wrong. She is the sort of person who feels she can (and maybe should) control what happens around her to a greater extent really than anyone can. As such, when things don't turn out the way she wants, she feels personally responsible.
Despite her demanding job, Peggy has some time for friends and romance - though not as much as most. She does form deep connections with people, such as Angie, Jarvis, Howard, and Daniel, though only on the edges around her job. If it came to a competition between her work and her relationships, she tends to allow her relationships to suffer. But nevertheless, Peggy does consider the people around her important, and tries to make them feel that way, as much as she can - even when at times she questions whether she SHOULD have relationships, when she feels responsible for the damage done to those she cares about.
Though Peggy's relationships are important to her, Peggy has an extremely difficult time asking for help or leaning on people. One might think this is partly because she has been pushed down so much and many of the people around her don't believe that she can do anything important. But I really don't think that's all it is - it's also a basic part of her personality. Even when dealing with people who respect and admire her (like Jarvis), Peggy tends to try to go it alone. This is somewhat to protect others - she would rather throw herself into danger and die then be responsible for the death of another, especially a civilian.
But this isn't just in her working life. Even in something as mundane as trying to find an apartment, she is hesitant to accept Angie's help. In nearly everything she does, Peggy's first instinct is to try to stand on her own two feet and do everything herself. Only when challenged by someone too stubborn to leave her alone - or when the odds against her are just so huge that even she can see no other way - will she accept help.
This also comes out when Daniel stands up for her. She is grateful that he cared enough, but she would far rather stand up for herself than have someone else protect her. This, to her, only shows weakness to the people who are looking for an excuse to put her down.
Skills: Peggy is a highly trained secret agent and master spy. She is an excellent marksman (not shown to be a sniper, but definitely a good shot with a pistol), and is trained in hand-to-hand and knife combat. She is very good at using her environment and whatever comes to hand to defeat an enemy even if they are stronger than she is. She is skilled with misdirection and can use a bit of makeup, a wig, and clothes to get in practically anywhere. She is well aware of how to use her gender to cause people to underestimate and overlook her, and uses that to her advantage both in investigation and in combat. She is a trained code breaker, an experienced military veteran and tactician, and trained with investigative techniques. She is fluent in English, German, and Russian. She is shown to also have some thieving skills, as she is able to pickpocket, and can likely pick locks with the proper equipment.
Supernatural Abilities: None.

An explanation about the second one - I am also
coldlenny and this was a section of a much larger story which was primarily Leonard Snart from DC and Bucky Barnes. For this section I RPed Peggy, and it does go on for several comments (even after the first interaction ends, if you scroll down a bit she comes back and confronts them near the Waverider).
If this sample isn't appropriate then I can definitely create something new from scratch. It'll have to be a prose sample that I write, like a ficlet, as I haven't been playing Peggy that long so these are the only two scenes I've done where I've played her.
So please let me know and I'll be happy to write something new if you need me to!
Aspirations: Obviously this game is brand new so what Peggy does will depend largely on what she has to work with! But I'm looking forward to her digging in and helping the surviving crew weather this crisis, as well as investigating why this happened to her. She will likely spend a lot of time on away missions or on the ship helping people and assisting in gathering resources for them all to survive. She will start with an overall goal of getting home, but that will be secondary to dealing with what's in front of her. I'm also looking forward to her meeting modern-day characters from her canon (like Tony, who I see has apped!) and dealing with her feelings about what happens in the future with SHIELD and HYDRA, and learning of her friends' fates.
